Write your paperYour submission (step 1) has been accepted and you may now start writing your article (step 2). It must not exceed 4 pages in a « camera ready » format. You are therefore advised to use the template in one of the formats provided (*.docx / *.doc / *.odt), in order to achieve the intended layout.
Language All official UIS languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian) are welcome. For any article written in English, an additional French abstract (with title inserted at the beginning) would be appreciated. Should the article be written in any other language, an additional English summary (with title inserted at the beginning) is mandatory. A third language abstract may also be included (with title inserted at the beginning). Abstracts Abstracts should not exceed the 200 word limit. Additional keywords are not allowed unless they are inserted at the end of the abstract and together comply with the 200 word limit. Format The page format is A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm). Top and bottom margins are 3 cm tall, left and right margins are 2.5 cm wide. Figures are either one column wide (7.7 cm) or two columns wide (16 cm). Headings span one column, the body of text runs over two columns (width : 7.7 cm, inter-column spacing : 0.6 cm). Text and figures All graphics (figures, photographs, tables… ) are termed ‘figure’. They should be referenced and numbered in order of appearance. A page of text without any figure contains roughly 5200 characters, spaces included. Footnotes are not allowed. Font The chosen font is Calibri. Font sizes : Title 24pt, author 12pt, address 9 pt, heading 1 14 pt, sub-heading 11pt, body of text 9pt. For the text embedded in figures, any sans serif collection > 6 pt may be chosen. File File (*.docx / *.doc / *.odt) : max. 5 Mo.
